PSG Welcomes Jeff Ivey as COO
Jeff is a recognized expert in the data center industry and is frequently requested to speak at national data center conferences and panels for organizations such as CAPRE and BISNOW. He is actively involved in numerous organizations such as 7X24 Exchange and serves on the Board for notable organizations, AFCOM Mid-Atlantic and Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) Data Center and Infrastructure Committee.
Jeff’s experience is as far as the east is from the west. He has worked extensively on both coasts and even in between. He arrives at PSG after a successful tenure at COPT as General Manager of their Data Center Solutions team in Northern Virginia. He served as Director of Facilities Power Loft and a spent a combination of 7 years at Sprint/Nextel and 15 years at MCI managing capital construction projects and mission critical facilities.
Jeff explained his move, “After nearly ten great years at COPT, I am starting a new adventure at PSG with some old friends and colleagues from my MCI/Nextel/Sprint days.”
Jeff’s experience in data center, commercial and corporate real estate is paired with his strong background of working with large corporations including the integration of multiple business units in fast-paced and dynamic environments. He has direct experience with hyper-scale cloud activity, merger and acquisition activity, resulting in rapid growth with facilities related strategic corporate planning, acquisition, construction and disposition.

Jeff’s ability to actively participate in various business unit roles and manage diverse portfolios of assets are evidenced by his knowledge in business, marketing, technology, product development, communications and internet technology. His major strengths are his customer interface skills, cost containment, project management, and personnel management. His strong negotiating and decision-making capabilities will be a great asset to PSG.
