Vice President & Chief Operations Officer
As COO, Jeff is responsible for overseeing organizational operations with a focus on Data Center Construction and Facilities Management. A data center executive with over 30 years of experience, Jeff has a unique blend of technology and managerial strengths that facilitates project management across multiple and diverse cross-functional business units. He has direct experience with hyper-scale cloud activity, merger and acquisition activity, resulting in rapid growth with facilities related strategic corporate planning, acquisition, construction and disposition.
Jeff is a recognized expert in the data center industry and is frequently requested to speak at national data center conferences and panels for organizations such as CAPRE and BISNOW. He is actively involved in numerous organizations such as 7X24 Exchange and serves on the Board for notable organizations, AFCOM Mid-Atlantic and Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) Data Center and Infrastructure Committee.
Jeff’s experience is as far as the east is from the west. He has worked extensively on both coasts and in between. His career includes 10 years at COPT as General Manager of Data Centers, Director of Facilities Power Loft and a spent a combination of 7 years at Sprint/Nextel and 15 years at MCI managing capital construction projects and mission critical facilities.
Jeff’s ability to actively participate in various business unit roles and manage diverse portfolios of assets are evidenced by his knowledge in business, marketing, technology, product development, communications and internet technology. His major strengths are his customer interface skills, cost containment, project management, and personnel management. His strong negotiating and decision-making capabilities will be a great asset to PSG.
