CARFAX, a one-stop source for vehicle history information for buyers and sellers of used cars, selected Project Solutions Group to provide Project, Construction and Relocation services for their new headquarters in Centreville, Virginia.
PSG managed the design, construction, schedule and budget of this project. In addition, PSG hosted meetings, recorded and distributed minutes and coordinated all delivery and installation of furniture, fixtures, signage, security and artwork.
PSG’s first task involved developing an understanding of Carfax’s goals and objectives for this project. Based on Carfax’s objectives, PSG implemented a Project Success Plan that included outlining new standards for space allocation and furniture.
We developed RFP’s for architects and various suppliers of products and services, along with managing CARFAX’s 100-person move from Fairfax to its new office in Centreville, Virginia.
By reviewing CARFAX’s lease, and negotiating with the landlord, PSG saved the company a substantial amount of money on an item that was overlooked when the lease was initially signed.
PSG developed reconfiguration plans and schedules and coordinated with the movers and CARFAX’s IT and accounting departments during the move. We completed FF&E inventories and provided the client with a digital inventory and oversaw FF&E installation.
