Assistant Construction Project Manager

Position Summary

Reports to Project Manager and/or Managing Director.

Produces required and on-demand project status reports for Senior Management.

Responsible for construction projects from proposal and requirements definition to project planning and implementation of projects. 

Ensures customer satisfaction and provides quality assurance and control.  

Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and work independently.

May work full time on-site to oversee, manage, and coordinate a project during Construction and Project Close-Out including the Design/Build Team, cost and schedule tracking/reporting, document control, etc.


Minimum Requirements

B.S. in architecture, engineering, interior design or construction management, or equivalent combination of experience and training.

Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written, and the ability to present the solutions in a manner that is easy to understand. 

Must be self-confident, proactive, and able to work independently and as an effective team player.

Previous construction management experience preferred.

Domestic travel required 20%.

Proficient with MS Office Suite and experience with construction management software (i.e. Procore, Prolog, etc.) a plus.

Current PMP and LEED Certifications a plus.
